" FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN "

Field Service Technician Position Summary:

The Field Service Technician is a customer interacting role responsible for performing professional door service and responding to customer’s needs in a friendly and efficient manner by using their customer service skills and mechanical knowledge. This position requires the ability to be onsite with customers, working with a team and being a dynamic representative of Rinderle Door Company. Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and strong customer service is a key to the success of this role.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Represent Rinderle Door Company with all customers exhibiting the “Do What’s Right” philosophy
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through frequent interaction
  • Accurately interpret customer needs and develop solutions
  • Provide thorough, detailed and accurate information for project estimation and provide guidance throughout project as needed
  • Actively promote Rinderle products, services and solutions in support of customer’s needs and vision
  • Acknowledge when project issues arise and address immediately with customers

Success Criteria: The candidate’s success will be measured based on: 

  • Developing rapport with customers by creating an amazing experience for them in the field
  • Ability to make a unique contribution to the Rinderle team, strengthening the teams skillset and furthering team success
  • Exhibiting the ability to take initiative to problem-solve and handle difficult situations under tense situations
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly truck as well as equipment used on the job

  • Continuing to grow and develop in order to take on new challenges and new areas of expertise

Basic Qualifications: 

  • At least 3 years in the service/construction industry
  • Able to use power tools, aerial work platforms and equipment
  • Mechanical Skills (as well as low voltage electrical skills)
  • Logical Thinker
  • Healthy and fit to carry out physical task and lifting
  • Positive Attitude
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Owner of Full Set Hand-Tools

" OUTSIDE SALES CONSULTANT "

Outside Sales Consultant Position Summary: 
The Outside Sales Consultant is a customer facing role responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships, addressing customer’s sales needs and accurately interpreting a customer’s vision by using product, service and mechanical knowledge. This position requires the ability to be onsite with customers and act as an advocate and dynamic representative of Rinderle Door Company. Strong customer service is a key to the success of this role.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Five (5) years of outside sales experience
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience selling quality, high value products and services
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and providing guidance to team members
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new technology/applications quickly
  • Ability to be onsite with customers
  • BONUS: Experience with commercial doors, commercial construction, facility management, or manufacturing

" INSIDE PROJECT ESTIMATOR / CSR "

Inside Project Estimator Position Summary:

The Inside Project Estimator is a customer and vendor facing role responsible for providing accurate and timely quotes for project and repair requests. This position requires the ability to clarify and interpret customer’s requirements and provide an efficient and accurate quote. The Inside Project Estimator will have responsibility for conducting research for custom projects, deciphering technical information, ordering job material, nurturing vendor and customer relationships, and general customer service.

  • Accurately and efficiently create customer quotes
  • Purchase job materials
  • Track job progress from initiation through completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers through frequent interaction

Success Criteria: The candidate’s success will be measured based on: 

  • Developing rapport with customers and vendors through responding to requests, placing orders and creating accurate and timely project estimates
  • Ability to make a unique contribution to the Rinderle team, strengthening the teams skillset and furthering team success
  • Exhibiting the ability to take initiative and develop resources for problem solving and handling difficult situations
  • Sharing new and innovative ideas with customers and the team, helping to generate successful outcomes
  • Ability to lead others through a project and provide guidance in the effort to accelerate job completion and contribute to an outstanding customer experience

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Three years of experience developing and presenting accurate quotes to customers
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and providing guidance to team members
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new technology/applications quickly
  • Ability to work 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday
  • BONUS: Experience with commercial pedestrian doors with an knowledge of door hardware

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
