Efficiency Improvements

One way to make more money is to DO MORE WITH LESS. We'd like to think that making something more 'efficient' achieves that goal. The following are a few areas that we focus on when creating efficiency in your facility:

  • Automation: almost anything can be motorized; and after it is, can be controlled by radio controls, sensors, pull cords, or other activation devices. They can be connected to timers so they automatically close after use. Automation can also save a back—and an insurance claim.
  • High Speed: ramping up the speed of a door system has an effect on a plant. Workers seem to feel a sense of urgency and work faster. We offer upgrades to enhance the cycle speed and longevity of a system. Some high speed doors we offer travel at a speed up to 100" per second.
  • Energy Efficiency: along with speed and automation, another aspect of efficiency is energy conservation. Even the most insulated door can be losing massive amounts of energy on an hourly basis if it is not weather-stripped properly or doesn't have a tight seal. We can weather-strip any door system with brush, rubber, PVC, etc. Other energy efficiency products like air curtains and hanging strip curtains are also available. The environment will love you for it!
