Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is a customer and vendor facing role responsible for providing accurate and timely quotes for project and repair requests. This position requires the ability to clarify and interpret customer’s requirements and provide an efficient and accurate quote. The Inside Sales Representative will have responsibility for conducting research for custom projects, deciphering technical information, ordering job material, nurturing vendor and customer relationships, and general customer service.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret sales person’s job take-off sheets
  • Obtain vendor quotes and specifications
  • Accurately and efficiently create customer quotes
  • Purchase job materials
  • Track job progress from initiation through completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers through frequent interaction
Success Criteria
  • Developing rapport with customers and vendors through responding to requests, placing orders and creating accurate and timely project estimates
  • Ability to make a unique contribution to the Rinderle team, strengthening the teams skillset and furthering team success
  • Exhibiting the ability to take initiative and develop resources for problem solving and handling difficult situations
  • Sharing new and innovative ideas with customers and the team, helping to generate successful outcomes
  • Ability to lead others through a project and provide guidance in the effort to accelerate job completion and contribute to an outstanding customer experience
Basic Qualifications
  • Three years of experience developing and presenting accurate quotes to customers
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and providing guidance to team members
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new technology/applications quickly
  • Ability to work 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday
  • BONUS: Experience with commercial pedestrian doors with an knowledge of door hardware
