Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester Pedestrian Entry Doors (FRP)
Not only are FRP doors designed to handle wet environments and harsh conditions, they promote cleanliness as they are chemical and stain-resistant. These entry doors are a perfect solution for any wet environment or a place where heavy salt is used. They come in a variety of colors, configurations, fire ratings and carry extended warranties. We are a proud authorized Special-Lite® dealer as well as an Edgewater dealer.
Hollow Metal Pedestrian Entry Doors
Hollow metal doors are not really hollow. Ours are filled with insulation and heavy duty reinforcement for all hardware preparations. These doors are the industry standard. If we need to put one outside, we typically will supercharge it with galvanization and a pre-painted finish coat. Metal entry doors can be made in a variety of configurations, fire ratings and they can also be made with a CurriStain face sheet, which gives the "look" of wood in a steel door.
Wood Pedestrian Entry Doors
Wood entry doors have their place, and it's INSIDE of the building. Typically we will promote wood doors to match an aesthetic. They provide a warmer feel and can match the look of an existing building's interior. Wood doors can be customized in a number of ways and be made with fire ratings and all types of window or design configurations. If you have a stain to blend with, we can send it to our manufacturer for a match.
