The Rinderle Story

How it All Started

In the late 1970’s, Rick Rinderle was in a partnership with another gentleman in a fencing business. In the winters the fencing business was slow, so the company decided to do door work to keep busy. When Rick was put on the roster, he went on a handful of service calls the first day, some installs the next day, and by the third day he called his wife and told her “I found what I want to do for the rest of my life!”

He and his wife Marlene took out a loan, bought a van, and started a business out of their home on the south side of Milwaukee. They officially incorporated in the summer of ’83. From storing product in a tiny wood shed in the city alley, to answering phones while taking care of three boys, and working countless tireless hours, they realized their dream of owning a successful service business.

Every day was focused on amazing customer service, doing what's right and performing work to be proud of. That same mission still continues today.

 

Growing Through Family

Rick and Marlene have three sons. All have grown up in the business (Jeff and Brian have been in it all their adult lives). Jeff is responsible for sales  and marketing, business development, and various operations within the company. Brian’s role is managing and training the field service team and enhancing how our technicians safely and effectively perform duties out on the job site. Michael worked in the business early on in the field and played an important role in setting up the current IT structure. He currently runs his own IT business.

Rick and Marlene are still owner/operators in the business and have the same dedication and vigor as they did 30+ years ago. Rick is Vice President and oversees all aspects of the business. Marlene is President. She is responsible for all business financials and plays a very important role in strategic planning and company vision.
